The most famous t-shirts in music

Wearing a band t-shirt is a badge of honor, a way to proudly display what great taste you have in music. While hipsters have tried to appropriate some of them in recent years, you'll notice that the old lineups from the '70s-'90s still hold sway.

I have chosen some models that are still going strong and will be around for many years to come.

Ramones

Ramones t-shirts have become a fashion icon since the beginning and are still in the top. The design was created in the 70s by the New York artist Arturo Vega. t-shirts_with_music

Nirvana

In the 90s it was very difficult to find a teenager who did not own a Nirvana t-shirt. This was created by Kurt during the Nevermind sessions, he took the acid house emblem of the smiley face and completely mutilated it with the famous reverse of "flower sniffin kitty pettin baby kissin corporate rock whores". This t-shirt is still popular among teenagers and adults.

Smashing Pumpkins

Widely worn by the band's frontman Billy Corgan during their 1996 tour supporting Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, it was originally made by a skate company. The band eventually bought the rights for themselves: the shirt remains a rock classic.

Wham!

In the 80s, t-shirts with messages were born thanks in part to the band Wham and their "Choose Life" t-shirt. The design was created by the famous Katharine Hamnett and it was a very large and wide t-shirt. Its promotion took place in the video of the band Wham "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" and was a real success.
